The detail is good enough that I regularly catch would-be assassins trying to sneak up behind me in Battlefield and WarZone, and the overall range of sound matches or exceeds most any other headphones in my house even for playing music or watching movies.
#Kraken x lite gaming headset series
It works well with Xbox series X/S controllers and provides loud enough sound and realistic enough bass to completely immerse you in your games and filter out all distractions. They say it doesn't have in-line controls, but it does have easy-to-reach volume and mute controls located behind the left ear speaker. Not only is it light, but also flexible, which seems to help the durability, as it is being used by wildly destructive boys as well as serious gamer girls and still seems to survive the rigors it's going through. Suffice it to say, I've now put the JBL purchase on the back burner until a future date when my Kraken can no longer perform.

I was just going for something that could do the job right for now while planning on soon getting one of the new JBL models that were significantly more expensive. I didn't have really high expectations when I got my Kraken X.
